As a family-owned and operated farm, we believe everyone deserves access to fresh, flavorful food with a clear connection to where it comes from.

By keeping our harvest local and without toxic pesticides, we can deliver products that are richer in flavor, higher in nutritional value, and rooted in trust.

The Lainhart family can trace our practice of subsistence farming back seven generations in the state of Kentucky. Before this, our ancestors were farmers in Germany, Ireland and England. This self-sufficient way of life is woven into the fabric of our moral fiber farther back than our memories can reach. Caring for the land and our family in a way that is interconnected with the natural world has made us not only love what we do, but eager to share the bounty of this lifestyle with others. We hope to pass our agrarian passion on to future generations of not just our family, but others who join us in our mission of feeding our community.

In recent years, our farm has begun to ramp up production in a way that remains regenerative. We are actively growing and diversifying our offerings.

We look forward to expanding our selection of Lionheart farmed meats and produce with the same dedication to transparency, sustainability, and quality.

Currently, we raise a small number of non-certified organic fruits and vegetables, and farm fresh eggs from pasture-raised chickens fed exclusively non-GMO feed. In the near future, we hope to be active players in the local meat market with our own goat, pork, beef and poultry production.

We are excited to grow and integrate with our community! It truly takes a village of hardworking people to create an environment that values not just the cultural practices of of this place and people, but the animals and plants that give food to nourish our bodies, minds and future.
